Understanding the Problem
Yousagi is focused on building culture and community around Asian American flavors not just for Asian Americans, but for everyone in NYC.
The brand strives to reach a diverse customer base and wants to appeal to young and old at an affordable price point. Therefore, Yousagi wanted to keep a traditional, timeless feel with a fun and playful twist.
Creating a Solution
Based on market research, I created a brand identity that reflects the cute and colorful aesthetics that are typically seen in Asian branding, especially packaging, while incorporating more traditional fonts that will grow with the brand.
Putting it all Together
Yousagi's new timeless and trendy brand identity highlights the flavors of the baked goods and helps the brand stand out from other bakeries in the area.

I paired a trendy, yet timeless serif font with a thin sans serif font to bring life to the brand
In Japanese, yousagi means night rabbit, so i incorporated a rabbit running under the moon

Business Cards
Since Yousagi distributes products at local cafes and restaurants, I designed eye-catching business cards with the brand's mission, contact information, and a QR code for easy access to learn more about the brand.

As Yousagi delivers physical products, packaging plays an important role in the brand. Wanting to add personalization to the brand, I created these trendy and colorful stickers that clearly reflect the brand's personality.
